Browns Bristol

ENJOY THE BUZZ OF BROWNS

ANY TIME OF DAY

The Browns building in Bristol is modelled on the Doge’s Palace in Venice and was once part of the outstanding Bristol Museum and Art Gallery.

It was restored to its former glory in 1992 and is now very much part of the landscape.

Bristol is a city of bridges, boats and beautiful churches with the stunning Georgian Queen Square at the centre and the world famous Clifton Suspension Bridge on the cliffs of the Avon Gorge.

So come and join us at Browns for a great atmosphere, delicious food, sparkling fizz and cool cocktails!

About Bristol

John Betjeman once said that Bristol ‘is the most beautiful, interesting and distinguished city in England’. And there’s certainly a lot to keep visitors occupied here.

Banksy was once just another kid on the streets of Bristol with a can of spray paint. A Banksy walking tour will take you to the heart of the cultural quarter, where colourful graffiti transforms the walls and buildings and you can see some of his little-known earliest work.

There are many ways to explore the city – from a walking tour to a river cruise around Bristol and the River Avon. Or you could hop on a Sightseeing Busand do the Bristol Tour – taking in the Harbour, Clifton Suspension Bridge and the dramatic Avon Gorge.

Brunel’s ss Great Britain, the world’s first great ocean liner, is now a multi-award winning visitor attraction. Step aboard and experience what life was really like on board a Victorian vessel.

Bristol is filled with museums, art galleries and places of interest. St Mary Redcliffe Church is a stunning Gothic church that sits on the red cliffs above the floating harbour. Blaise Castle House Museum and Estate is a glorious 19th century mansion set in 400 acres of parkland with a delightful folly castle.

Whatever your interests, you’ll find so much to see and do in this wonderful city where a packed programme of music, literature, outdoor activities and entertainment takes place all year round.
