It’s been 45 years since the first Browns restaurant and bar opened its doors in the seaside town of Brighton. We were delighted that our guests loved our brasserie as much as we did and proudly opened more new restaurants in university towns such as Cambridge, Oxford and Bristol.
A lot has happened since 1973, but we’re proud to have remained committed to our history and heritage of sourcing the finest seasonal products from great British suppliers. Our classic seasonal food and signature cocktails can now be enjoyed all over the country in venues that are quintessentially British and rich in heritage.
We’ve stayed true to our roots, and have played host to thousands of breakfasts, brunches, lunches, afternoon teas, and dinner parties up and down the country. We’ve made our home in numerous unique landmark buildings, hand picked for their historic or national interest and stunning surroundings. We believe our history is beautiful, and we’d love to celebrate it with you on our Birthday.
