Browns in Oxford was our second restaurant to open and is quite a landmark in the city. The building was a Morris garage for many years until we converted it into an English brasserie.
Even though we’re in the city centre, the view from our windows is pure England. We’re just across the road from St Giles Church and a beautiful terrace of 18th century houses.
Join us for a relaxing, brasserie brunch, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner, made with quality, fresh, seasonal ingredients. Or if you don’t fancy a meal, our expert, friendly teams will look after you in our stylish cocktail bar area, where you can enjoy a crafted cocktail (or two), a glass of fine wine or Champagne and graze on some delicious bar snacks. However you spend your time in our Oxford restaurant, you can be certain it will be time well spent.

Oxford is best explored by foot - some of the architecture, particularly the University buildings, is remarkable and has been the inspiration for many authors such as C S Lewis and Lewis Carroll. Make sure you join us at Browns for drinks, dinner or cocktails once you’ve explored the city’s highlights.
